Weezer and Olivia Rodrigo’s collaboration at Lollapalooza 2025 is getting a special release on vinyl. Rodrigo is offering a 7-inch single that features the two songs she performed with Rivers Cuomo and the band at the Chicago festival. Fans can preorder it now from Rodrigo’s web store, and it will ship on December 5.
During the festival, Weezer joined Rodrigo on stage to play “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So.” Rodrigo shared her excitement with the crowd, saying Weezer was her first-ever concert. She later expressed her gratitude on Instagram, thanking the band for still making her feel excited after all these years.
The single’s cover art is a nostalgic photo of a young Rodrigo wearing a Weezer t-shirt and oversized headphones. The back of the single features a shot from their Lollapalooza performance.
Rodrigo is known for her love of alternative and rock music. Earlier this year, she brought out Robert Smith from The Cure during her set at Glastonbury. She also covered a song by The White Stripes during their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
This vinyl release is a must-have for fans of both artists!
