On his Instagram page, Sombr has shared images of Madison Square Garden in New York and the KIA Forum in Inglewood, California. These clues suggest he might be announcing his first arena tour, but there’s also a chance he could reveal a new single, album, or both. Earlier this year, he released the single “Homewrecker,” which could be part of a new album project. His debut album, I Barely Know Her, was released in August 2025.
In a recent chat with NYLON Guys magazine, Sombr mentioned he’s been working on new music inspired by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and the nostalgic pop of the 2010s. He expressed that he’s not worried about commercial success, saying, “I don’t care if the album flops … as long as I am happy with what I made.” The phrase “YOU ARE THE REASON” might be his way of acknowledging his fans as the driving force behind his tour.
