Wicked: For Good Soundtrack Release Date and Tracklist Announced   

 The excitement for the premiere of *Wicked: For Good* is growing, especially with the announcement of the sequel soundtrack’s release date and tracklist. The album will drop on November 21, the same day the film hits theaters. It will include songs from Act Two of the stage musical, featuring fan favorites like “Thank Goodness/I Couldn’t Be Happier,” “As Long as You’re Mine,” and “For Good.”

The film, directed by Jon M. Chu, will also showcase two new songs by Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz. “No Place Like Home” will be performed by Cynthia Erivo, and “The Girl in the Bubble” will be sung by Ariana Grande. Additionally, the soundtrack will feature “The Wicked Witch of the East,” a song from the original Broadway musical that wasn’t included in previous cast recordings.

Schwartz expressed his excitement about the new music, saying, “I’m especially happy that the soundtrack album for *Wicked: For Good* has so much new music on it.” He noted that both new listeners and long-time fans will find plenty to enjoy.

This film wraps up the *Wicked* storyline, with the first part premiering in November 2024. *Wicked: Part I* received ten Academy Award nominations, winning Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. Its soundtrack debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, marking the highest debut for a film adaptation of a stage musical.
