Zacky Vengeance, the guitarist from Avenged Sevenfold, has announced his debut solo album under his real name, Zachary Baker. The album is titled *Dark Horse* and will be released on April 3. It features the title track, which has already been released, and a new song called “Lighthouse,” available now.
According to a press release, *Dark Horse* reflects Baker’s restless spirit and the outlaw heroes that inspire him. The album promises a raw and honest sound, blending storytelling with Americana influences. This marks a significant shift from his hard rock roots as he steps into his role as a songwriter.
Avenged Sevenfold’s latest album, *Life Is but a Dream…*, came out in 2023, and they released a new single called “Magic” in 2025. The band is set to kick off a U.S. tour with Good Charlotte in July.
