Cage The Elephant Debuts ‘Make It Easy’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Ahead of 2027 Tour and Album

Cage The Elephant played its new single “Make It Easy” on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, Nov. 3, two days before the song’s release. The band put the track on Thursday, Nov. 5.

“Make It Easy” follows the 2026 singles “Beaches In Tennessee” and “Dying In Reverse.” The band began teasing the song on social media in October. Its first live show of the track came on Monday, Nov. 2, in Burbank, California, according to JamBase. The song landed midway through a six-song set.

A new album, Dying In Reverse, arrives on Feb. 5, 2027. Justin Raisen and SADPONY produced it. A press release says the album shows the band embracing “experimentation, spontaneity, and the chemistry of working through ideas together in the room,” according to Rolling Stone.

“This record turned out to be such a special one for us,” frontman Matthew Shultz said in a statement, according to Rolling Stone. “It’s without a doubt, one of the most creatively gratifying experiences we’ve had as a group yet.”

Shultz added, “In a way, it’s a goodbye to the past, closing the door on an era, with a renewed perspective grounded in the present while also walking towards the future with hope and gratitude. Signifying a rebirth of sorts.”

The band’s last album, Neon Pill, came out in 2024.

Cage The Elephant will headline the halftime show at the NFL Munich Game on Nov. 15, when the New England Patriots face the Detroit Lions.

The tour starts in Berlin on Feb. 8, 2027. Tickets are on sale through the band’s website.
