This collaboration is the first piece of new music released by anyone in the U2 camp since November 2019 when the band released ‘Ahimsa.’ This was a collaboration with Indian artist A.R. Rahman in honor of U2 performing in India for the first time in their career when they were touring in celebration of the 30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree.
Euro 2020 is the upcoming soccer tournament organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA.) It was originally set to take place last year, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, hence its 2020 name. The UEFA European Football Championship, like the World Cup, takes place every four years.
