David Lee Roth has released a new song: The delightfully twangy “Giddy-Up.”

The singer dropped the track yesterday (May 31) along with artwork for the single, which he created. The artwork features the very DLR caption, “Warning: This song contains violence, nudity and constant danger.”

The song originally appeared as part of Roth’s online comic book appropriately called The Roth Project, which was released in November 2020. The track was one of five new songs featured in the online comic book that came from Roth’s long-talked-about recording sessions with Rob Zombie guitarist John 5. Also among those tracks was “Somewhere Over the Rainbow Bar and Grill,” which was a tribute to Eddie Van Halen.

“Giddy-Up” is available for streaming on all major digital platforms here.
