Lady Gaga Reschedules Chromatica Ball Tour Dates For Summer 2022

Lady Gaga’s long awaited Chromatica Ball Tour has been rescheduled once again. Ticket holders have been notified that the tour, originally scheduled to take place last July and postponed to begin in July 2021, will now take place in the summer of 2022. Official dates have yet to be announced.

“While some parts of the world are moving quickly to open up, others are not yet ready,” Gaga shared in a statement on social media. “So until we can confirm all global dates, we have to postpone the Chromatica Ball shows to the summer of 2022.”

Last year, the singer shared the news of the tour’s initial postponement, saying: “We’ve been working hard to figure out the safest and soonest way to bring this show to you, but most importantly want everyone to be healthy and able to dance together at the shows as we always have.”

The Chromatica Ball Tour is still scheduled to include the six initially announced shows in Paris, London, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and New Jersey. Fans who have already purchased tickets will be able to hold onto them for the rescheduled dates.

In support of her latest studio album Chromatica, the Chromatica Ball was announced in March of last year, days before the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered the doors of venues throughout the world. As live music makes its return, differing protocols and vaccine distribution vary by country, causing difficulty inconsistent scheduling for the touring industry.

In the meantime, Gaga fans are awaiting the release of a Chromatica remix album created in collaboration with producer BloodPop. While the release date is imminent, it has been shared that the project will feature rising UK star Bree Runway, Dorian Electra, and possibly Rina Sawayama and Charli XCX.

Gaga also recently announced Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary Edition, an expansive celebration of the singer’s sophomore album Born This Way.

Out on June 18 via Interscope Records, the record will feature all 14 tracks from the original album as well as six alternate versions of selected tracks reimagined by LGBTQIA+ artists and advocates including Big Freedia who covered “Judas” for the project.

Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary Edition is available for pre-order now.
