Dee Snider has tested positive for COVID-19, but he says his symptoms are mild due to being fully vaccinated.

Snider shared via Twitter, “FOR ALL WHO READ I GOT COVID…I’m fully vaccinated so my symptoms were minor. Advil and Sudafed totally managed them. Didn’t miss a beat business-wise (did 10 interviews on first day I got it). All symptoms gone in three days. I feel totally fine now. GET THE DAMN VACCINATION!”

Snider has a hunch how he was exposed to COVID-19. He said in an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, “My wife decided [to take the grandkids] to Disney World [because they wanted to go]. ‘Okay, I’m going to take you to Disney World.’ She looks online – reservations only, limited [number of] people in, social distancing, masks, must be vaccinated, if not vaccinated, must be tested. So, okay, great. She gets all of the tickets, $1,000 worth of tickets and goes there. No one checks vaccination, no one checks tests. No one’s enforcing masks. It’s packed and they’re all in lines waiting for an hour.”

He continued, “They came back and brought it back with them. There was zero enforcement. And then, you know, once you’re through that gate. They say, ‘Well, why would you take your kids there?’ They’re through the gate and the kids are just running for f—in’ Minnie Mouse, and it’s non-refundable. They don’t give you a thousand bucks back for all of the tickets you bought. It’s like, ‘C’mon grandkids,’ they’ll be hating Grandma for the rest of their lives. ‘Oh, but I saved you from getting COVID.’ Yeah, that will matter to them.”

Snider isn’t the only rocker to still get COVID despite being vaccinated. Earlier this month, Poison drummer Rikki Rocket shared a detailed video to his YouTube channel about contracting COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated for months.

Rockett explained that his son tested positive, and then a few days later, he started experiencing symptoms and then tested positive. While he didn’t confirm whether he had the delta variant of COVID-19, he said the doctors he spoke to told him his symptoms are “every hallmark of being the delta variant.”

“You’re probably thinking to yourself, ‘Vaccinated and you still got COVID. Do you feel like an idiot for getting vaccinated?’ No,” said Rockett. “The reason I don’t feel that way is because I know that this would be way worse, especially if it was the delta variant.”

He added, “And I’m pretty sure — pretty, pretty sure; and I’m gonna get a DNA sequence to make sure — but absolutely every doctor that my family and I have come in contact with, and I think we’re counting seven doctors now, have all said, ‘It is the hallmarks… Everything that you describe is the delta variant.’ So I’m quite confident that that’s what it is. And that would completely devastate me if I hadn’t had the vaccine.”
