Belinda Carlisle Says She’ll Attend Rock Hall Induction Ceremony

Belinda Carlisle has confirmed she will be attending the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which will honor The Go-Go’s.

Carlisle told BBC 2’s The Michael Ball Show, “We’re getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the end of October, and I wasn’t going to be there, but now I’m going to be there. I think we deserve it, so that’ll be fun.”

Carlisle was speculated to not be attending the Rock Hall induction of The Go-Go’s after she announced a UK/Ireland tour that would conflict with the ceremony. However, Carlisle recently announced those tour dates have been rescheduled.

As previously reported, the Rock Hall is planning on an in-person induction ceremony with fans taking place on Saturday, October 30 at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena in Cleveland. The 2021 Induction Ceremony will air on HBO and stream on HBO Max at a later date.

In addition to The Go-Go’s, this year’s induction class for the performer category includes Foo Fighters, JAY-Z, Carole King, Todd Rundgren and Tina Turner.
