Tame Impala, Earth Wind & Fire Announced For Travis Scott’s Astroworld 2021

Tame impala and Earth Wind & Fire are among the big names confirmed for Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Fest.

Scott held the one-day festival in his home city of Houston, Texas in 2018 and 2019. Organizers were forced to scrap their plans for Astroworld to return in November 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Following confirmation that the festival would go ahead between November 5-6 this year, it has been announced tonight (October 26) that Travis Scott will perform at Astroworld 2021 alongside the likes of Tame Impala, Earth Wind & Fire, SZA and Young Thug.

Also featured on the bill are Bad Bunny, Lil Baby, 22 Savage, Chief Keef, Master P and more. Visit the event’s official website for further information.

“SEE YA IN NOVEMBER,” Scott wrote while sharing the official line-up poster.

Travis Scott recently shared further details about his forthcoming new album ‘Utopia’, which is expected to arrive at some point this year. He said that the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Astroworld’ would focus on what he believes to be the key components of a utopian state, “medicine, nursing, being a better person, talking, language, communication”.

“You think utopia is a society where everything is good: health, buildings, architecture – nah,” the rapper explained. “It’s just about proper lines of communication.”

Earlier this month, Tame Impala has announced The Slow Rush Deluxe Box Set will be available on February 18, 2022 via Interscope, featuring B-Sides and remixes of Kevin Parker’s Grammy-nominated 2020 album.

The physical version will feature two transparent red LP’s and alternate artwork including a 40-page booklet and The Slow Rush 2050 calendar. Both the physical and digital versions released on February 18 will feature two never-before-heard B-sides, the pre-album single “Patience” (both original and remix), plus additional extended versions and remixes including the “Breathe Deeper (Lil Yachty Remix).”
