These Were the Biggest Mainstream Rock Artists for 2021

Billboard has released its many year-end charts for 2021, and when it comes to mainstream rock artists, Foo Fighters unsurprisingly had a big year.

The newly inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band came in at number one on Billboard’s 2021 Year-End Mainstream Rock Artists chart. This year saw the Foos release their tenth studio album, Medicine at Midnight, and return to the road following 2020’s break from touring due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mainstream Rock Artists chart was determined by a number of statistics including sales, airplay and streaming data.
