The B-52’s will “Roam” on tour one last time with the announcement of their “Final Tour Ever of Planet Earth.”

The 15-date tour kicks off August 22 in Seattle and wraps November 11, in Atlanta, which is an appropriate final stop since the band formed in Athens, Ga. They’ll be supported by The Tubes and KC & The Sunshine Band on select dates. (Full list of show dates and support details are below, and more shows will be announced at a later date.)

B-52’s co-founder Fred Schneider said in a statement, “No one likes to throw a party more than we do, but after almost a half-century on the road, it’s time for one last blow-out.”

Fellow co-founder Kate Pierson added, “Who knew what started as a way to have some fun and play music for our friends’ at house parties in Athens in 1977 would evolve into over 45 years of making music and touring the world. It’s been cosmic.”
