How To Watch The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

To celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th year on the throne, a star-studded concert, Platinum Party in the Park, will be held at the Buckingham Palace tomorrow, June 4. Queen + Adam Lambert, Diana Ross, Duran Duran, and others are slated to perform. The show will be held on three stages linked by walkways, that give a 360-degree view of the front of Buckingham Palace and The Queen Victoria Memorial. Here’s how to watch the Platinum Party in the Park.

Where can you watch the concert?

The Platinum Party in the Park will be available to stream on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Radio 2. Kristy Young and Roman Kemp will be on hosting duties for the coverage shown on BBC.

Where to watch the Platinum Party in the Park in the US

Unfortunately, the festivities won’t be airing on BBC America, but those who are subscribed to BritBox can watch through the streaming service. BritBox offers a free trial for seven days, and you can cancel your subscription at any time before the allotted time without being charged.

Platinum Party in the Park details

The concert will last two and a half hours, with Queen + Adam Lambert opening the show and Diana Ross closing it. The event will also include performances by Alicia Keys, Hans Zimmer, Duran Duran, Andrea Bocelli, Ella Eyre, Craig David, Mabel, Elbow, George Ezra, Mimi Webb, Sam Ryder, Jax Jones, Celeste, Nile Rodgers, Sigala, and Diversity. There will also be a special pre-recorded performance from Elton John shown. In addition to those performances, there will be appearances by David Attenborough, Emma Raducanu, David Beckham, Stephen Fry, Julie Andrews, The Royal Ballet, and Ellie Simmonds.

There are expected to be 22,000 people in attendance. The crowd will consist of 7,500 key workers, members of the Armed Forces, volunteers, and charities; the rest of the tickets were allocated in a public ballot by the BBC.
