Metallica has officially added six new dates to their groundbreaking "Life Burns Faster" residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas. The expansion comes after the initial run of shows sold out in minutes, with the band now scheduled to perform through the end of October 2026. The residency has been hailed as a technical marvel, utilizing the venue’s 16K wrap-around LED screen to create immersive visual landscapes tailored to the band’s 45-year discography.

The newly added dates will see the "M72" stage production adapted specifically for the spherical environment, featuring a "No Repeat Weekend" format where the band plays two completely different setlists over two nights. According to tour promoters, the demand for these shows has exceeded all previous rock residencies at the venue, leading to the decision to "burn the candle at both ends" and extend the stay. Tickets for the added performances go on sale this Friday, March 6th, via Ticketmaster.

Kittie has officially unveiled the "Legacy of Fire Tour," a massive 16-date North American run celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary. Launching this June, the trek marks the group's first full headlining tour in over a decade. The announcement comes as the band continues a major career resurgence following their 2024 comeback album, Fire, and the recent Spit XXV anniversary EP.

The tour will feature support from Sacramento metalcore outfit Kingdom of Giants and the Texas-based quartet Gore. Starting June 6th in St. Louis, the route includes stops in major markets such as New York, Nashville, and Atlanta, before concluding with two homecoming shows in Toronto and Montreal. In a group statement, the band reflected on the milestone, noting that the "fire is still burning, stronger and more focused than ever" as they prepare to honor their history and usher in a new chapter.

Prevail are officially returning to Australia this June for their largest headline run in the country to date. Dubbed "The Violent Nature Tour," the five-city arena trek is in support of their fourth studio album, Violent Nature, and marks a new era for the band with Eric Vanlerberghe taking over as the sole vocalist.

Joining the tour as special guests are Swedish "violincore" standouts Imminence, returning after their successful 2025 headline run, and Texas progressive metalcore outfit Invent Animate. The tour kicks off on June 14th at Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium and will conclude at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on June 23rd. However, if you want users to “be the media”, they should at LEAST be held to SOME standard of accuracy or truth.

There’s SO much false information flying around online on a daily basis. Community notes help, but they are added after the fact, and by the time they actually GET added, the lie has travelled around the world and the damage is already done.

There MUST be SOME system put in place that punishes such behavior? A three strikes and you’re out type thing maybe? Whether it be from the MSM or independent users, if you’re pushing blatant disinformation, the platform shouldn’t automatically reward you because you “get engagement.”
