The Yocum Institute for Arts Education is bringing back two theater-based mental health programs to Berks County schools — free of charge. These workshops follow a spring 2026 pilot that tested the lessons with local students and teachers.
One program uses drama exercises to help teens talk about stress, anxiety, and building resilience. The other blends improv and storytelling to teach coping skills and boost confidence. Both are hands-on and run by trained facilitators.
