A perfect summer breeze rolled through Fairmount Park on June 28, 2025, as fans packed the Mann Music Center for BABYMETAL’s return to Philadelphia. The weather was clear and warm, making it a great night for an outdoor metal party.

The evening kicked off with Bloodywood, the folk-metal band from India, who brought a powerful and uplifting energy to the stage. Mixing heavy riffs with traditional instruments like the dhol, they played songs like “Nu Dehli” and “Gaddaar,” getting the early crowd jumping, clapping, and chanting along.

Next up were Black Veil Brides, who stepped on stage with full rock-star confidence. Andy Biersack led the band through a set packed with fan favorites like “In the End” and “The Legacy,” while the band’s heavy guitar work and anthemic choruses got the crowd singing along. Their dramatic stage presence and dark aesthetic created a classic rock show vibe, with plenty of headbanging and phones in the air capturing the moment. Black Veil Brides provided the perfect bridge between Bloodywood’s raw energy and BABYMETAL’s colorful chaos.

As the sun set, the stage lights came up, and the crowd roared when BABYMETAL hit the stage around 9:15 PM. Su-metal, Moametal, and Momometal appeared in black-and-gold costumes, launching immediately into “Babymetal Death.” The crowd threw up fox signs, jumping in rhythm as the pounding drums and fast riffs filled the Mann’s open-air space.
They followed with “Megitsune,” and “PA PA YA!!”with the crowd dancing and singing back every word. Su-metal’s vocals were powerful and clear, while Moametal and Momometal kept their choreography sharp and full of energy, adding playful moments that made the entire venue feel alive. Mid-set highlights included “RATATATA” and “Gimme Chocolate,” turning the Mann into a giant dance party.

The Kami Band delivered a flawless performance, shredding through solos and driving the heavy beats that made songs lie “KARATE” hit even harder live. The LED screens behind the band lit up with fiery fox imagery, lasers, and bright colors, adding a visual spectacle that kept the energy up throughout the night.
They closed with “Road of Resistance,” a perfect anthem for the end of the show. Fans across the seated sections and the lawn were singing, waving their hands, and jumping along as BABYMETAL led the final chants of the night.
