Day 1: Friday the 8th of December

When I made my way into the festival on opening night, Spite was about to take the stage. Their hard-hitting performance and aggressive sound resonated  deeply with the metalcore enthusiasts in attendance. Spite’s ability to engage the audience and draw them into the chaos was nothing short of impressive.

As the night progressed, Brand of Sacrifice commanded the stage as one of the supporting headliners. Their music blared through the venue, vibrating the walls and injecting the audience with a surge of adrenaline. The crowd fed off the band’s intense energy, creating a togetherness that further enhanced the festival’s atmosphere. Brand of Sacrifice cemented their place as a band to watch in the metalcore scene.

Texas in July took the stage, evoking a sense of nostalgia in the hearts of longtime metalcore enthusiasts. As their melodic hooks and powerful breakdowns filled the air, the crowd erupted into a frenzy of movement. The band’s energy and dedication to their craft were clear, leaving a lasting impact on both new and old fans alike.

The moment we had all been waiting for finally arrived as August Burns Red, the titans of metalcore, took the stage. The crowd erupted into thunderous applause and deafening cheers, creating an electric atmosphere that shook the entire venue. The band wasted no time and dove in headfirst into their set, unleashing a relentless barrage of blistering guitar riffs, thunderous drums, along with Jake Luhrs’ powerful vocals.

August Burns Red’s showmanship was on full display as they commanded the stage with an undeniable presence. Their technical skills and flawless execution of complex melodies and breakdowns left the audience in awe. The band’s synergy was palpable, reflecting their years of touring and honing their craft to perfection.
