EMI Archive Trust Store Launches New Posters

The EMI Archive Trust has added to its merchandise collection. The online store announced a new limited range of framed posters, which are inspired by one of the label’s most foundational technologies: tape.

These prints come in both small and large sizes, and feature three designs: Green EMI Tape Poster, Hi-Dynamic Poster, and Series 830 Professional Poster. All of the designs of the prints were derived from real EMI Tape catalogues and are printed on museum-quality Enhanced Matte Paper. They’re being sold for the first time as exclusive prints.

Last November, the British multinational record label first announced the launch of the EMI Archive Trust store, featuring merchandise celebrating the history of the label. The collection includes logo tees, hoodies, socks, tote bags, and box sets that all highlight EMI and its sub-labels.

The EMI Archive Trust was established in 1996, after the EMI Group of companies gifted many of their pre-1947 and other valuable music and technology historical assets. The Trust defines its purpose as “the advancement of education and research and, in particular, to foster and promote the study and appreciation of the art techniques and development of sound recording and the history of the sound recording industry.”
