KISS will wrap up their farewell tour in December with back-to-back shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden. If you were hoping to see Ace Frehley and Peter Criss at these shows, Gene Simmons has some bad news.

In a new interview with Linea Rock, Simmons says, “I asked both Ace and Peter a few times, ‘Do you wanna come out for the encores? Do you wanna do some shows?’ And they both said no. So, I don’t know what to say about that.” (In the same interview, Simmons also alludes to how newer fans of KISS may not even know who Frehley and Criss are. This seems like a stretch, but such is the case for the complicated relationships of KISS.)

The final leg of KISS’ “End of the Road” farewell tour kicks off on October 29 in Austin, Texas and wraps with the aforementioned MSG shows on December 1 and 2. A full list of the final dates is below.
