Linkin Park, Twenty One Pilots, and Sleep Token are among the nominees for the 2026 American Music Awards. They are all competing for the Best Rock/Alternative Artist award, alongside Deftones and The Marías. Linkin Park is also nominated for Best Rock/Alternative Song with their track “Up from the Bottom.” Sleep Token is in the running for Best Rock/Alternative Album with their album Even in Arcadia, while Twenty One Pilots is nominated for Breach.
Other nominees for Best Rock/Alternative Song include Noah Kahan’s “The Great Divide,” SOMBR’s “back to friends,” Sublime’s “Ensenada,” and Tame Impala’s “Dracula.” For Best Rock/Alternative Album, the competition includes SOMBR’s I Barely Know Her, Tame Impala’s Deadbeat, and Zach Bryan’s With Heaven on Top.
In the Breakthrough Rock/Alternative Artist category, SOMBR, Geese, and Gigi Perez are all nominated. SOMBR stands out with a total of seven nominations, just behind Taylor Swift, who has eight.
