Morey’s Piers Reopens for New Season in Wildwood

Morey’s Piers is back for the 2026 season, opening three weeks early before Memorial Day weekend. On May 1, crews were busy testing rides, getting everything ready for the first visitors of the year. Kyle Morey, the marketing director, shared his excitement, saying, “Every spring, you get through the winter and start to feel the energy pick up in town.”

To kick off the season, Morey’s Piers is looking to hire 1,500 seasonal workers. They need ride operators, lifeguards, game operators, and more. Anyone 14 years or older can apply. For more details, check out the Morey’s Piers website.

If you’re thinking about a beach trip, it’s not too late! Popular spots like Long Beach Island, Ocean City, and the Wildwoods are still welcoming visitors. Some property owners are even offering discounts, with rates reduced by up to 10%.

Duane Watlington from Vacation Rentals Jersey Shore mentioned that this year has an extra week of summer fun, thanks to an early Memorial Day and a late Labor Day. This means more options for everyone looking to enjoy the beach. So, get ready for a great summer at Morey’s Piers and the Jersey Shore!
