Violet Grohl has just dropped a new song titled “Cool Buzz,” which is part of her upcoming debut album, Be Sweet to Me. In her statement, Grohl explains that “Cool Buzz” pokes fun at punk guys who talk about progressive politics but don’t give women a chance in their music scenes. You can check out the lyric video for “Cool Buzz” on YouTube.
Be Sweet to Me is set to release on May 29 and will feature previously released tracks like “Applefish,” “THUM,” and “595.” Along with the new music, Grohl has announced her first headlining shows. She will perform in New York City on June 4, Philadelphia on June 5, and Washington, D.C. on June 6. Tickets are available now at VioletGrohl.com.
In addition to her solo shows, Grohl will open for The Breeders and perform at the 2026 Shaky Knees and CBGB festivals. Meanwhile, her dad, Dave Grohl, recently released a new Foo Fighters album called Your Favorite Toy.
