After 14 years away from the stage, Creed’s 2024 concert cruises sold out in no time. Their success on this tour has led them to add more dates through summer 2025. Guitarist Mark Tremonti believes ’90s music is making a comeback. “People want to relive their younger years, whether it was college or just good times,” he said. Most of the tickets are going to fans aged 25 to 35, with social media clips, music apps, and baseball games sparking interest in their sound.
Creed formed in Tallahassee in 1995, featuring lead singer Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips. Their debut album, *My Own Prison*, was a hit, featuring four chart-topping singles like “Torn” and “My Own Prison,” and selling over 6 million copies. Their follow-up album, *Human Clay*, took off even more, with the GRAMMY-winning single “With Arms Wide Open.” *Weathered* added another 6 million to their impressive sales.
In 2002, a car crash changed everything for Stapp. Struggling with pain medication and stress, the band went on hiatus by 2004. Their first attempt to return in 2009 didn’t go as planned, but now things are looking up. Creed’s popularity has surged in the last two years, with packed shows and their hits climbing the rock charts again.
While working on other music projects, the band is committed to keeping Creed alive. Stapp is making his own music, while the others are busy with Alter Bridge. Fans can find tickets and show schedules on Creed’s website, with Daughtry and Mammoth set to open the shows.
