Kilby Block Party unveiled its 2027 lineup on Wednesday. Deftones, The Strokes, and Jungle will be among the headliners. The eighth annual festival runs May 14-16 at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City, and 70 artists are on the bill.
Fontaines D.C. joins Deftones at the top of Friday’s schedule. Slayyyter shares Saturday with The Strokes. On Sunday, Lil Yachty plays alongside Jungle. S&S Presents, the concert company behind the festival, made the announcement.
Two Door Cinema Club will play its album Tourist History. Whitney is set for a 10-year anniversary show of Light Upon the Lake.
The poster also lists IDLES, Spoon, Weyes Blood, Phantogram, Hot Chip, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Kim Gordon, Julien Baker, Silversun Pickups, Wednesday, Joyce Manor, and Wolf Parade. About a dozen more artists will be named before the event, the poster says.
“Kilby Block Party 2027 will continue the festival’s tradition of bringing together an incredible collection of fans and performing artists each year to celebrate life, community and a shared unwavering love for the irreplicable power of live music,” organizers said, according to KSL.
It all began in 2019, with a one-day block party marking the 20th anniversary of Kilby Court, an all-ages music venue in Salt Lake City. Turnstile, The xx, and Lorde headlined the 2026 block party. Lorde called the event “the absolute coolest festival ever.”
Each night, official after-shows take place at venues around the city. The weekend also brings a silent disco, a Vendor Village, and The Crusher Cup, the festival’s yearly skateboarding contest.
