Brian Fallon, the frontman of The Gaslight Anthem, has just released two new solo songs titled “Not Bad for New Jersey” and “Better Before.” Fallon describes “Not Bad for New Jersey” as a celebration of his roots and experiences. He reflects on his life, saying, “I wrote that song looking back on my life the way you do after almost ending up in a crash – like, ‘How did I make it through that?'” He acknowledges the challenges he’s faced but is grateful to still be here and in one piece.
In June, Fallon will be hitting the road for a series of solo shows. His last solo album, “Night Divine,” came out in 2021. The Gaslight Anthem’s most recent album, “History Books,” was released in 2023 and marked their first record in nine years. Fans can look forward to more music and live performances from Fallon.
