Former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and Disturbed bassist John Moyer are set to join William Shatner on his upcoming metal album. Lombardo expressed his excitement, saying, “It was a true privilege to contribute drums to William Shatner’s ambitious heavy metal project. At any age, real artists keep pushing boundaries – and this one pushes them into orbit.”
The album will feature Shatner performing Judas Priest’s “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin'” with Rob Halford. It will also include covers of songs by Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.
