Tom Araya, the vocalist of Slayer, will be the grand marshal for the Würth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race this Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. He will kick off the event by saying the famous words, “Drivers, start your engines.” Araya expressed his excitement, saying, “Excited to be the Grand Marshal for the WÜRTH 400. Slayer, NASCAR Reign in speed!”
Earlier this year, Korn’s Jonathan Davis took on a similar role at the Penzoil 400 race in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Slayer is gearing up for a series of shows to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their iconic album, Reign in Blood, starting in September.
