KISS is set to launch an exciting avatar show in Las Vegas in 2028. This news comes after the band revealed their plans during their final concert at Madison Square Garden in 2023. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and their manager, Doc McGhee, shared details about the show in a recent interview.
Simmons described the experience as more than just a show, saying, “When you are parachuting into a volcano, I would call it a show.” McGhee added that it will be a must-see, calling it a new form of immersive entertainment. He emphasized how today’s technology allows for incredible experiences, likening it to something out of The Jetsons.
The show will feature KISS’ iconic personas, including The Demon and the Starchild. Fans can expect to hear all the classic hits along with some surprises. Simmons hinted at new songs, stating, “You’re gonna get all that stuff, and also new songs,” and confirmed that they have already written some of them.
Stanley promised a truly immersive experience that highlights the band’s legacy. He mentioned that the avatars will look just like them, not cartoonish versions. “The great thing about being an icon is you can stay young forever,” he said.
With all these exciting details, KISS fans have a lot to look forward to in 2028!
