Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan has revealed that he needs heart surgery. In a recent chat with producer Rick Rubin, Clown, 56, shared that he discovered he has a “skipping heart” after his last tour. He explained that when he visited the doctor, they thought he was having a heart attack.
Clown described the feeling, saying, “I’ll go from ‘on’ to just straight up, I feel like I’m dying.” He emphasized the need for surgery, but reassured fans that it is a “very easy surgery” and that patients usually go home the same day. Initially, he was concerned he might need a pacemaker, which made him anxious about touring. However, the doctor told him, “Oh, no, you’re going to feel better.” Fans can look forward to Clown’s recovery and his return to the stage.
