Social Distortion has just released a new song titled “The Way Things Were,” which is part of their upcoming album, Born to Kill. This is the third track from the album, following “Partners in Crime” and the title track. Born to Kill will be available in full on Friday. This album is significant as it is the first from Social Distortion in 15 years and comes after frontman Mike Ness revealed his tonsil cancer diagnosis in 2023.
The band is set to kick off a U.S. tour in August. Fans can also catch them performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Thursday.
