System of a Down has announced a 25th anniversary edition of their 2001 album Toxicity, set to ship on Nov. 20. The physical release includes a red smoke-colored vinyl edition featuring a bonus one-sided 7-inch single with the rare track “Johnny” and an etched “25” design on the B-side, as well as a CD version with new artwork and a 24-page booklet. Additionally, the reissue officially corrects the album’s hidden closing track—long misidentified by fans as “Arto”—to its actual title, “Der Voghormia,” a traditional Armenian hymn.
Originally produced by Rick Rubin and launched on Sept. 4, 2001, Toxicity debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold an estimated 15 million units worldwide. The anniversary launch is accompanied by specialized merchandise—including apparel, skate decks, and themed accessories—while scheduled tour dates are listed on the group’s official website.
