In 1967, Procol Harum launched their iconic song, which would go on to become one of the best-selling singles ever, peaking at No. 3 in the U.S. and hitting No. 1 in the U.K. Fast forward to 2003, the Black Eyed Peas released their third album, Elephunk, featuring hits that climbed the charts in both the U.S. and U.K. Then in 2007, The White Stripes reached No. 1 in the U.K. with their final studio album, Icky Thump.
Beyoncé made waves in 2011 with her fourth album, 4, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and sold over 300,000 copies in its first week. It also produced several successful singles. In 2015, Carly Rae Jepsen released E•MO•TION, which included popular tracks and peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard 200.
