Lana Del Rey will release a companion record alongside her upcoming album Stove. She posted on Instagram that Stove is “so lovely and intact as it was intended to be” and called it a classic. She thanked everyone who worked on it.
Del Rey said a second, companion album grew out of the same period. She described it as a commentary on what has been happening in her life and the patience and trust it took to finish. A vinyl mockup in her post suggests the companion record is called Spyda.
She wrote she needs a month to finish putting both albums together, then she’ll send them to vinyl. That gives fans a clear timeline for when to expect the releases.
Del Rey’s last full album was 2023’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. She first teased a follow-up called Lasso in 2024, later renaming it The Right Person Will Stay and then Stove. Since then she has released one-off singles, including “Henry, Come On” and “Bluebird” in 2025, and “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” and “First Light” in 2026.
Fans can expect Stove and its companion Spyda to arrive after Del Rey finishes the final month of work and sends the albums to vinyl.
