Metal powerhouse I Prevail is set to release their new album, *Violent Nature*, on September 19 through Fearless Records. This marks the band’s first album since Eric Vanlerberghe took over as vocalist after Brian Burkheiser’s departure a few months ago. Bassist Jon Eberhard produced the 10-track album.
Their latest single, “Rain,” follows the hard-hitting tracks “Into Hell” and the title track, “Violent Nature.” Vanlerberghe shared that “Rain” was one of the first songs written for the album, focusing on themes of acceptance and clarity in the face of things we can’t control. Other tracks on *Violent Nature* include “Synthetic Soul,” “NWO,” “Pray,” “Annihilate Me,” “Crimson & Clover,” “God,” and “Stay Away.”
I Prevail has quickly risen to fame, earning two GRAMMY nominations and racking up over 3 billion streams worldwide. They are currently on their Summer of Loud Tour, hitting the East Coast until July 27. Fans can catch them at major venues like PNC Bank Arts Center and Jiffy Lube Live as they perform in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, and North Carolina. Joining them on tour are Beartooth, Killswitch Engage, and Parkway Drive.
Pre-orders for *Violent Nature* and tickets for upcoming shows are available now. Fans are excited for this release, with many saying it hits harder and cuts deeper than anything the band has done before. The lead single, “Violent Nature,” showcases aggressive deathcore elements and highlights Vanlerberghe’s impressive vocal range, while “Into Hell” emphasizes their melodic metalcore roots.
