Everclear is set to perform 16 shows in Australia from November 21 to December 13. This tour celebrates 30 years since their iconic album, *Sparkle and Fade*, was released. Frontman Art Alexakis said, “*Sparkle and Fade* was not the first album I made, but it was the album I had wanted to make my whole life. It changed everything for me and Everclear.”
Fans can expect to hear their hit single “Santa Monica” along with other favorites during the shows. The tour kicks off at Bar on the Hill in Newcastle and wraps up at The Gov in Adelaide.
*Sparkle and Fade* achieved Platinum status from the RIAA in 1996, selling over a million copies. Some standout tracks from the album include “Heroin Girl,” “Heartspark Dollarsign,” and, of course, “Santa Monica.”
Alexakis is bravely battling his 2019 MS diagnosis while continuing to record and tour. A portion of each ticket sale will support the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and the National MS Society.
The current lineup features Art Alexakis on vocals and guitar, Davey French on guitar, Freddy Herrera on bass, and Brian Nolan on drums.
Fans can grab early tickets through Spotify and Bandsintown presales starting July 30 at 9 a.m. AEST. General ticket sales open to everyone on July 31 at 9 a.m. AEST. Don’t miss your chance to see Everclear live!
