AFI is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Decemberunderground with a vinyl reissue. This marks the first time the album has been available on vinyl since its original release in 2006. The reissue will come in three versions, including a limited-edition deluxe package that features a bonus 7-inch single with two extra tracks. Fans can preorder their copies now.
Decemberunderground is AFI’s seventh studio album and includes their biggest hit, “Miss Murder.” Lead singer Davey Havok describes the album as a reflection of a time and place where people find solace in darkness and isolation. He emphasizes the sense of community among those who feel detached and seek love in hidden corners of the world.
AFI’s latest album, Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…, was released in 2025 and pays homage to Decemberunderground with its final track, “Nooneunderground.” The band recently premiered a video for this song. Currently, AFI is on a U.S. tour to promote Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…, connecting with fans through their music.
