Shirley Manson, the lead singer of Garbage, will curate the 2027 Teenage Cancer Trust concert lineup at London’s Royal Albert Hall. This role was previously held by Roger Daltrey of The Who for 24 years before he stepped down in 2024. Robert Smith from The Cure took over for the 2026 shows.
Manson expressed her excitement about the opportunity, saying, “To follow in the footsteps of the great Sir Roger Daltrey and beloved Robert Smith is one of the greatest honors I’ve ever received.” She emphasized the importance of raising funds and awareness for teenagers in the UK battling cancer.
Manson plans to bring together some of her favorite artists for the event and is eager to see it all come together at the Royal Albert Hall next year. For more details, check out TeenageCancerTrust.org.
