Roxborough is getting ready for one of its biggest events of the year: the 24th Annual Roxborough Spring Fest and Rockin’ the Ridge Car Show. This all-day celebration on Ridge Avenue will be filled with music, art, food, and community spirit. Organized by the Roxborough Development Corporation and the Roxborough Ridge Runners Car Club, this festival combines two beloved local traditions into a high-energy, family-friendly event.
This year’s Spring Fest is extra special as it’s part of Philadelphia’s 250th Anniversary celebrations, supported by the City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia250’s RingItOn! initiative. The festival runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. along Ridge Avenue, expanding its footprint for the second year in a row.
Attendees can look forward to live music across three performance zones, a classic car showcase, over 70 local artisans, and a variety of food and drinks from Ridge Avenue restaurants and award-winning food trucks. Craft beverages will be available from New Ridge Brewing Company and Top Dog Cocktails, adding to the festive vibe.
One of the highlights is Rockin’ the Ridge, featuring classic and custom cars that attract enthusiasts and families alike. The Student Art Show, “Doodle the Dream: The Next 250!”, showcases young artists’ visions for Roxborough’s future, developed with local partners.
Music lovers can enjoy performances from local bands and community groups throughout the day. Families will find hands-on art demos, interactive education experiences, and a Community & Family Zone in Pocket Park. New this year, the Community Wellness Village offers a relaxing space focused on health and connection.
