Myles Smith has decided to push back the release of his debut album, “My Mess, My Heart, My Life,” by one week. Originally set for June 12, it will now come out on June 19. He shared the news on Instagram, explaining that he needs some time to recharge.
Myles mentioned feeling close to burnout after spending more time abroad than at home in recent months. He said, “Living out of bags, constantly moving… I stopped being still.” He wants to be fully present for his fans when the album drops.
He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from his fans, saying it has helped him realize how much this album means to them. “I’m taking that extra week to breathe and come back to myself,” he added.
In addition to the album delay, Myles announced that his favorite song from the album, “Hold Me in the Dark,” will be released on May 8. He will kick off his stadium tour with Ed Sheeran on June 13, which will run alongside his own headlining shows starting June 16.
