Oli Sykes, the lead singer of Bring Me the Horizon, has given fans an update after being hit by a phone during a concert in St. Louis. Footage from the show showed the phone striking him while he was performing “Happy Song.”
In an Instagram Story, Sykes reassured fans, saying, “I’m all good.” He mentioned that the phone hit hurt and he ended up with a mild concussion, but the swelling has already gone down.
Bring Me the Horizon played 16 songs during the show, one less than usual for their U.S. tour. Sykes admitted he struggled a bit on stage afterward because singing was putting pressure on his injury, which made him feel disoriented. He apologized if his performance seemed lackluster.
He thanked fans for their concern and said everything should be fine for their next show in Kansas City, Missouri.
