The Darkness has just released a new song titled “Masters of the Universe” for the upcoming He-Man movie of the same name. The band shared their excitement on Facebook, saying, “When He-Man asked whether we could provide some music for his forthcoming biopic, we dusted off our trusty loin cloths and bellowed in unison WE HAVE THE POWER.”
The movie “Masters of the Universe” hits theaters on June 5. It features Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man and Jared Leto, the frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars, as the villain Skeletor. This new track follows The Darkness’ latest album, “Dreams on Toast,” which was released in 2025.
