Shinedown is making waves again with their latest single, “Safe and Sound.” This track has just topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, marking the band’s 23rd #1 hit. With this achievement, Shinedown extends their record for the most number one songs on the chart since it started in 1981. Three Days Grace follows in second place with 20 #1 hits.
“Safe and Sound” is part of Shinedown’s upcoming album, EI8HT, which is set to release this Friday. The album also features other singles like “Dance, Kid, Dance,” “Killing Fields,” and “Searchlight,” all of which have also reached #1 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
