Flea’s solo show at London’s Koko on Tuesday featured a surprise guest: Thom Yorke of Radiohead. The two musicians performed their song “Traffic Lights,” which is from Flea’s debut solo album, Honora. They also treated the audience to a cover of Marvin Gaye’s classic “Got to Give It Up.” Fans can catch clips of this exciting collaboration on Koko’s Instagram.
Honora was released in March and includes an instrumental cover of Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin Bout You.” Earlier this month, Flea played several shows in the U.S. and is scheduled to perform at the Newport Jazz Festival in Rhode Island this August. Flea and Yorke have a history of working together, having previously recorded with the band Atoms for Peace, which released the album Amok in 2013.
