Foo Fighters Announce June 20 Madison Square Garden Gig

Foo Fighters are returning to the stage in a very big way in less than two weeks at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

The band just announced, “We’ve been waiting for this day for over a year. And @TheGarden is going to feel that HARD. New York, get ready for a long ass night of screaming our heads off together to 26 years of Foos.” This will mark the first concert at MSG since venues were shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This concert announcement comes after some not-so-subtle hints that the Foos were planning a surprise concert of sorts at MSG. Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports shared a photo showing a massive “Rock and Roll Returns to the Garden: June 20th” sign outside of the venue that features the Foo Fighters’ logo.

Tickets for the Foo Fighters’ MSG show go on sale to the general public on June 11 at 10 AM ET via FooFighters.co/MSG. Citi cardmembers, however, will have access to a presale beginning today (June 8) at 11 AM ET via CityEntertainment.com.
