Dropkick Murphys have announced they will perform at the No Kings Boston rally on March 28, 2026. Vocalist Ken Casey expressed the band’s support for the event, stating they are happy to participate in “anything that offers resistance” to current events in America. The rally appearance follows the conclusion of the band’s recent U.S. tour, which culminated in their traditional St. Patrick’s Day concert in Boston.

The tour was marked by a surprise appearance from vocalist Al Barr, who has been on hiatus since 2022. Additionally, the band used their platform to pay tribute in Minneapolis to Alex Pretti and Renée Good, two U.S. citizens who were killed by federal immigration officers. Fans can catch the band’s live performance at the Boston rally next week.

Infected Rain has officially released the music video for their latest single, "Stranger," marking the first look at the band's next creative chapter. According to vocalist Lena Scissorhands, the track explores themes of identity and the internal conflict of no longer recognizing oneself. The band describes the new material as a move toward a "sharper and more direct" sound as they begin work on their next studio album.

The release arrives just days before the group kicks off their "Mutation Phase" co-headlining tour across Europe and the UK alongside Butcher Babies. The trek begins on March 25, 2026, in Glasgow, and will feature the live debut of "Stranger" alongside a mix of fan favorites. The band has also confirmed that the new track will be part of the setlist for their upcoming U.S. tour dates later this year.

Papa Roach has officially premiered the music video for their latest single, “Wake Up Calling.” To coincide with the video’s launch, the group hosted an exclusive virtual watch party for 500 fans, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and a live Q&A session.

Frontman Jacoby Shaddix shared that the song explores the experience of “standing on the edge of disaster” and being pulled back from the brink. “It’s one of the most raw, emotional songs we’ve written,” Shaddix noted, adding that the lyrics focus on choosing healing over self-destruction. The band is currently preparing for a 2026 tour schedule, including appearances at major festivals such as Rocklahoma, Inkcarceration, and Louder Than Life.

Lamb of God has released a statement to clarify the status of the bonus track "Wire," confirming its existence following widespread online rumors. While the song was not included in the original Into Oblivion tracklist, the band has made an Into Oblivion (Bonus Track Edition) available on iTunes and Amazon Music for $4.99.

However, the band noted that due to "unforeseen circumstances," this specific edition is a limited-time release. Fans have only until midnight tonight to purchase the digital version containing the track.
After the deadline, the band suggested the song may not resurface until a potential future reissue, telling fans who have more to say on the matter to "scream it to our faces" on their current Into Oblivion North America Tour.

In a new interview with The Drew Lane Show, KISS frontman Paul Stanley addressed critics who have labeled his son’s new musical project, Stanley Simmons, as a product of nepotism. The project is a collaboration between Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons (son of Gene Simmons), whose debut single "Body Down" was released this past December. Paul dismissed the idea that their last names give them an unfair advantage, stating, "If you suck, you’ll fall on your face."

The elder Stanley highly praised the duo's upcoming debut album, which is being produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day). Describing the music as an organic, rootsy Americana sound far removed from KISS, Paul called the material "frigging phenomenal" and "as good as anything I've heard in the last three or four decades." Evan and Nick have also defended the project's name, noting that while they are aware of the marketing connection to their fathers, Stanley and Simmons are simply their legal birth names.

In a new interview with Mexico's Excélsior newspaper, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe reaffirmed his commitment to using his platform to speak out on social and political issues. Addressing those who believe musicians should stay out of politics, Blythe called it "irresponsible" not to speak up, stating, "I'm not some dancing monkey put here for your entertainment." He emphasized that rock and metal are historically "resistance music" intended to challenge the status quo.

Blythe’s comments come as Lamb of God continues to support their tenth studio album, Into Oblivion, which was released on March 13, 2026. The band is currently on a spring North American tour alongside Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. Despite his outspoken nature, Blythe noted that he does not define himself by partisan labels like "liberal" or "conservative," instead choosing to act according to his own moral compass.

In a new interview with 107.7 The Bone's Chasta and Huey, Chevelle drummer Sam Loeffler shared his skepticism regarding the omnipresence of A.I. (artificial intelligence). Loeffler argued that while people might use tools like ChatGPT by choice, A.I. has become an unavoidable part of social media, email, and search engines. "I don't think anyone wants A.I. in every single thing," Loeffler stated, questioning why the technology is being pushed into every aspect of life.

Loeffler also noted the rise of "hidden" A.I. in content creation, citing an example of a racing video where cars were digitally added without disclosure. Away from the tech debate, Chevelle is preparing for a major 2026 North American tour supporting Breaking Benjamin, which kicks off September 2 in Camden, New Jersey. The band is also continuing to support their latest album, Bright As Blasphemy, which was released last August via Alchemy Recordings.

Anthrax has reportedly shifted the release window for their highly anticipated eleventh studio album to September 2026. While bassist Frank Bello previously indicated a tentative May launch, the full-length record is now expected to arrive in the fall. However, fans won't have to wait until then for a taste of new music, as the band plans to drop the album's first single in May.

The upcoming album marks the thrash legends' first studio release in over a decade, following 2016's For All Kings. The release will coincide with a busy touring cycle, including a previously announced Canadian run with Megadeth and Exodus.
