A Perfect Circle has just released a new single titled “Starless.” This is their first new music in two years, following the 2024 track “Kindred.” The song comes just in time for their upcoming tour in the U.K. and Europe, which starts in June.
Frontman Maynard James Keenan expressed his excitement, saying, “Absolutely chuffed to debut this new track on stage in the U.K.” He added that while he looks forward to the recordings, the songs really come alive when played live. Guitarist Billy Howerdel mentioned that some songs take years to develop, but sometimes a song comes together quickly, as if it was always there.
The new track features Josh Freese, a longtime collaborator and former drummer for Foo Fighters. A Perfect Circle’s last album was 2018’s “Eat the Elephant.” They will also perform a special show in Hawaii in December, alongside Puscifer, another band led by Keenan.
