From Ashes to New has hit the top of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their single “Drag Me.” This marks their first #1 on a Billboard radio chart, after previously reaching #2 with “Barely Breathing.” Vocalist Case reflects on their journey, saying, “That’s usually how tragedy strikes. You’re just going about your life, and then, boom, something bad happens.”
Despite not aiming to create #1 hits, Case believes the success of “Drag Me” shows the quality of their music. The song is also the opening track on their new album, *Reflections*, which is out now. Case feels that “Drag Me” sets the tone for the entire album.
Currently, From Ashes to New is on tour with Black Veil Brides and will join Shinedown on the road in July. Fans can look forward to hearing “Drag Me” live during these shows.
