A new clip from the upcoming Iron Maiden documentary, “Burning Ambition,” has just been released. This clip highlights Eddie, the band’s famous mascot, who has appeared on every Iron Maiden studio album. Metallica’s Lars Ulrich praised Eddie, saying, “It’s hard to think of a more recognizable mascot for a hard rock band.” KISS’s Gene Simmons and Public Enemy’s Chuck D also shared their thoughts on Eddie’s importance.
“Burning Ambition” looks back at Iron Maiden’s 50-year career and will hit theaters this Thursday. Fans can also catch Iron Maiden live during their “Run for Your Lives” tour, which kicks off in North America this August.
