Mexican rock trio The Warning have confirmed that their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Everything’s Falling, will arrive in full on August 28th via Lava/Republic Records. The announcement follows a week of cryptic teases on a countdown website that featured flame-charred angel wings. Marking the sister trio's first full-length record since 2024’s acclaimed Keep Me Fed, the upcoming LP capitalizes on a massive wave of momentum generated by their two previous singles—the scorching, riff-heavy “Kerosene” in March and the boom-heavy anthem “Ego” in May.

To completely lock in the new era, guitarist Dany, drummer Pau, and bassist Ale Villarreal are simultaneously preparing to drop their next official single, “Ritual,” this Friday, June 12th. Social media teasers for the accompanying music video reveal a dramatic, dark aesthetic shift for the band, featuring the sisters donning feathers, brandishing a ceremonial dagger, and performing alongside a pale white horse and a group of masked occultists. According to a warning posted by the band, the "Ritual" cinematic visual has officially been rated "R" due to "strong sequences of ritual and transformation, of a symbolic death."

While further tracklist and production details behind the album are still developing, exclusive physical variants—including specialized colored vinyl pressings and CD copies—have officially been launched for pre-order via the Revolver webstore. The major album reveal lands right in the middle of a massive spring North American tour alongside alternative artist Yungblud, a high-profile trek that includes a highly anticipated performance at New York City’s iconic Radio City Music Hall.

Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo has spoken out candidly about the intense struggles he faced regarding his sexuality, detailing how a deeply evangelical religious upbringing delayed his path to coming out last month. Appearing as a guest on the Disrespectfully podcast with hosts Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan, the 33-year-old vocalist took a deep dive into his childhood in Ohio as the son and grandson of preachers. Shomo explained that the strict tenets of his family's faith instilled a severe lack of self-worth, teaching him to view his sexuality as an evil "sickness that you can cure with prayer." He recalled a particularly traumatizing core memory from his teenage years when, at just 16 years old, he witnessed a group of peers attempting to "pray the gay out" of a crew member, a terrifying experience that forced him to heavily compartmentalize and suppress his own feminine side and true identity out of fear.

The pressure only intensified when Shomo entered the heavy music scene at age 14, finding himself surrounded by older, highly devout musicians during the peak of the mid-to-late 2000s evangelical Christian metalcore era, which was heavily influenced by bands like Underoath. To cope with the constant internal conflict and the overwhelming pressure to conform to traditional expectations, the singer painfully revealed that he battled severe suicidal ideation and later developed a heavy dependence on alcohol throughout his 20s. Shomo emphasized that while he loves his parents and knows they were doing the best they could with the tools they had, the rigid religious framework left him with decades of internalized self-hatred to unravel.

Ultimately, breaking through those barriers has paved the way for profound creative and personal liberation. Shomo revealed that fans will get to experience his unfiltered, authentic self on Beartooth's highly anticipated upcoming studio album, Pure Ecstasy. He credited prominent rock producer Jordan Fish for pushing him out of his comfort zone during the writing sessions, encouraging him to stop hiding behind vague metaphors and to write explicitly honest lyrics about his journey. Shomo notes that he is finally looking forwa…
Green Day have officially shared the first trailer for their highly anticipated coming-of-age road-trip comedy, NIMRODS, ahead of its theatrical release this summer. Soundtracked by the band’s multi-platinum 1994 anthem “Basket Case,” the newly released teaser lays out the premise for a rowdy, mischievous jaunt across America. The film follows three teenage bandmates—played by Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust—who are tricked by an older brother's elaborate prank into believing their group has landed an impossible, life-changing slot opening for Green Day on New Year’s Eve. Convinced fame is just a highway drive away, the trio steals a car and embarks on a frantic three-day journey from Kansas City to Los Angeles.

Directed and written by filmmaker Lee Kirk, the movie’s chaotic spirit is deeply rooted in rock folklore, pulling inspiration from the raw, DIY van-touring experiences Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool navigated years before their diamond-certified breakout record Dookie propelled them to global stardom. “It’s about the experience that Green Day had on the road in the early days... We played anywhere and everywhere,” Armstrong previously shared, noting that Kirk perfectly incorporated classic band milestones into the script, including spontaneous police shutdowns and their famous Woodstock mud fight. In addition to serving as producers alongside Live Nation Studios, the Green Day trio will appear on screen alongside a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Mckenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, and Sean Gunn.

The movie’s path to the big screen has been an evolving one for fans keeping score. The project was initially announced in 2025 under the working title New Years Rev and celebrated its initial festival premiere circuits last year before the band officially updated the moniker to NIMRODS this past April—a nod to their hit 1997 studio album. Partnering with fan-owned entertainment company Legion M to help drive localized grassroots distribution, Inaugural Entertainment has locked in an official, wide theatrical premiere date for August 14th. The full trailer is currently streaming across …
Enigmatic Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan has been slapped with a lawsuit by a former business partner regarding their joint craft spirits venture in Arizona. Filed on June 6th, 2026, in the Maricopa County Superior Court by plaintiff Dave Sanclemente, the civil complaint targets Keenan alongside craft distillery entity Potions, LLC—the parent oversight management firm behind Thirteen Moons Gin—and fellow company co-managers Tim White and Calvin Arnold. Sanclemente alleges the named trio actively "conspired in bad faith" to systematically strip him of his day-to-day operational responsibilities, terminate his consulting agreement, and ban him from the company's headquarters.

According to court documents available via Courthouse News, the professional relationship fractured around November 2025 after Sanclemente lodged a series of formal, internal corporate complaints concerning Keenan's behavioral conduct. The plaintiff contends these complaints involved reported workplace issues at Keenan’s other brick-and-mortar Arizona establishments—which notably span caduceus cellars, vineyard tasting rooms, and a martial arts dojo—and focused on behavior Sanclemente believed to be outright illegal. The filing alleges the subsequent boardroom freeze-out transpired just one month later as immediate, direct retaliation for speaking up about matters entirely separate from the baseline business goals of Thirteen Moons Gin.

Because of the alleged ousting, Sanclemente's legal team is suing for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and a violation of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. In addition to demanding a court order for full, uninhibited inspection access to Potions, LLC's corporate bank accounts, accounting logs, and financial ledger books, the lawsuit is aggressively pursuing punitive damages for what it describes as "willful, extreme, outrageous, and malicious conduct," as well as full coverage of all accumulated attorney fees.

Legendary Queen songwriter, singer, and powerhouse drummer Roger Taylor has officially revealed plans for his highly anticipated seventh solo studio album, Violence Insane In A Beautiful World, set for release on September 18th via Columbia Records. The upcoming LP marks Taylor's first solo record since 2021's critically and fan-acclaimed Top 3 hit Outsider. To give fans a taste of the new material, the album launch is preceded by the vibrant, celebratory lead single, "Come On Summer (It's Party Time)," which features a stunning vocal collaboration with South Africa's Ndlovu Youth Choir—the ensemble that initially caught Taylor's eye with their viral Zulu-language adaptation of Queen's iconic masterpiece, "Bohemian Rhapsody."

While not a strict concept record, the album follows a poignant, overarching perspective regarding the current geopolitical climate. "There is a theme, you know, it's in the title really: what a beautiful world we live in, don't fuck it up," Taylor explained. "There seems to be all this insanity at the moment. The violence in the world seems to be as bad as it ever was... plastics in the sea, and all these awful wars everywhere." Despite exploring darker themes of societal division, global conflict, and the rising tide of populist political figures like Nigel Farage, the collection ultimately maintains a deeply hopeful undercurrent focused on human kindness. Musically, the tracking process was an intimate affair; Taylor wrote, produced, and performed nearly every song on the project alongside longtime collaborator Joshua J. Macrae, pulling off an eclectic sonic tapestry that spans from political tracks like "Chump" to a stunning, heartfelt cover of John Lennon's classic ballad, "Jealous Guy."

The project also boasts a cosmic connection with NASA, after the crew of the Artemis II mission photographed Earth from the dark side of the moon—a perspective that exactly mirrors the album's artwork, which Taylor had designed prior to the photos being taken, depicting a beautiful but troubled world from the vantage point of an orbiting spacecraft. To celebrate the release, the rock pioneer will embark on a headlining autumn UK tour kicking off Sep…
Ratt vocalist Stephen Pearcy has firmly reiterated his lifelong stance against blending entertainment with political ideology, following high-profile artist cancellations from the controversial "Freedom 250" event. Speaking on the On The Road To Rock With Clint Switzer podcast, Pearcy was asked to weigh in on peers like Poison frontman Bret Michaels pulling out of the scheduled Washington, D.C. National Lawn concert series due to safety concerns and its increasingly divisive nature. "My opinion is I don't mix politics or religion with music," Pearcy stated flatly. "Never have, day one, nor do I think anybody else should. Everybody's entitled to their opinion, but the minute you start taking sides, you're gonna start making enemies. And that's just the way it is."

Pearcy’s perspective aligns with comments he made last year when he publicly called out Green Day on social media for integrating anti-political rhetoric into their live sets. Despite his strict policy of keeping personal beliefs separate from his artistic brand, Pearcy has occasionally signaled his own preferences online, previously using the acronym "TCB" (Taking Care of Business) to describe Donald Trump. However, when it comes to the stage, the singer believes the focus must remain entirely on the art. "If you commit to something, you better believe in it or you're gonna be dealt with the consequence," Pearcy warned. "I think Frank Zappa, our godfather of music, said it straight, you know? Don't do it. And me, I'm a firm believer. We never believed in it, taking sides for anything."

Away from the cultural debates, Pearcy is currently preparing for a major creative push with his sixth solo studio album, The Dogg Mob, which is tentatively scheduled to drop this fall via his own Top Fuel Records label. The upcoming collection marks his first full-length effort since 2018's View To A Thrill, and was previewed this past April with the hard-hitting lead single "I Need U." To track the new material, the singer enlisted an elite studio band featuring longtime guitarist Erik Ferentinos, bassist Matt Thorne, and drummer Blas Elias, alongside an unrevealed mystery guest guitarist. In addition to the upcomin…
Knocked Loose frontman Bryan Garris has provided an encouraging health update regarding his recent Bell's Palsy diagnosis, confirming that he is finally starting to regain physical movement on the left side of his face. Speaking candidly in the latest episode of the band's new documentary web series, Garris addressed the temporary paralysis condition, which struck the band amid a string of incredibly tough logistical hurdles—including their guitarist being struck by a car just prior to their massive stadium tour supporting Metallica. Despite the physical setbacks, the hardcore juggernauts have pushed forward with their live commitments without missing a beat.

Reflecting on the timeline since his initial diagnosis, Garris noted that while the condition briefly intensified, the trajectory has turned a corner. "We are on two and a half to three weeks since the diagnosis," Garris shared. "Since the video, it did get a little bit worse. I got to a point where my left eye was no longer blinking at all, and when I would try to smile, the left side of my mouth was just completely closed—fully stiff—which was difficult." Fortunately, the vocalist woke up recently experiencing a noticeable breakthrough. "I'm experiencing no pain, just a lot of discomfort... But since then it has actually gotten better. I woke up today feeling better than I have since the diagnosis. So I’m regaining some movement here… So yeah, hopefully this means we’re on the road to recovery." Garris credited a strict regimen of acupuncture and routine sauna sessions for helping stimulate blood circulation.

In tandem with the positive health update, Knocked Loose has treated fans to a highly anticipated, intimate live announcement. Following their upcoming appearance at the Outbreak Festival, the band will be performing a special, completely unbarricaded gig inside a church alongside their close friends in electronic-punk outfit Lip Critic. Tickets for the unique event are officially live, serving as a raw, small-scale detour within the band's relentless global touring schedule.

MGK has opened up about the severe medical complications he endured after rushing the process behind his massive "dark mode" blackout tattoo. Speaking in a new interview with Billboard Canada, the 36-year-old musician revealed that he completely ignored the timeline advised by celebrity tattoo artist ROXX, opting to compress what should have been a careful two-year procedure into a grueling two-month period. Driven by a desire to cover up older tattoos that reminded him of chaotic eras marked by drugs and death, the singer established a relentless daily routine of getting tattooed at ROXX's Los Angeles studio without building in vital windows for bodily healing.

The extreme physical strain quickly triggered a severe systemic reaction. “After the first week, we hit my lymph nodes around my armpits and shoulders, and I got really sick," MGK shared. "My skin was turning yellow. I wasn’t able to sleep. I stopped being able to move certain parts of my upper body." The alarming symptoms mirror known risks highlighted by medical experts, who note that a widespread immune response can occur when the body's immune cells react heavily to chemicals in ink and carry them to local lymph nodes.

Despite the temporary paralysis and scary health scare, the father of two views the intense physical transformation as a necessary metaphorical obstacle that ultimately brought him profound mental clarity. After looking in the mirror and feeling like his old tattoos made his past struggles scream off his skin, clearing the canvas allowed him to find a new sense of identity. MGK noted that he emerged from the stressful ordeal feeling far less chaotic, more focused, and creatively recharged, stating, "I came out the other side extremely inspired. Not just because of what I had done, but because of what I had to overcome."

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jack White has caught the music world off guard once again, quietly launching pre-orders for his unexpected seventh solo studio album, Frozen Charlotte, via his official Third Man Records webstore. Keeping with his recent tradition of unconventional rollouts—reminiscent of how he stealthily distributed his lauded 2024 album No Name via unmarked vinyl bags—White skipped formal press releases entirely, opting instead to simply update his online shop. Scheduled for a July 10th street date, the upcoming 13-track effort includes the recently released singles “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico,” and features original cover artwork created by White himself, which he previously teased during an Instagram studio video.

According to the official product description, the material was tracked directly at Third Man Studio in Nashville immediately following a string of universally acclaimed live performances. Rather than taking a break from the road, White brought his scorching-hot touring lineup straight into the studio, capturing the performances alongside longtime collaborators Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass, and Bobby Emmett on keyboards. The collection promises to carry on the same raucous, raw, and frenetic energy of his previous record, combining intense rock-and-roll punches with deep, underlying blues foundations. The surprise studio drop lands right in the middle of a heavy stretch of 2026 international tour dates, which will see the guitar virtuoso trekking across major venues throughout North America and Europe over the coming months.

Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson has opened up candidly about her 2024 battle with cancer, detailing the mental hurdles of the diagnosis and the grueling reality of post-operative preventative chemotherapy. Speaking in a new interview with Jesse Thorn on the NPR program Bullseye, the iconic singer admitted that her primary fears during the health scare were deeply tied to her lifelong musical identity. "I really did worry about my physical self on stage more than I worried about it any other way," Wilson revealed. "What I would care about the most would be, 'Oh, my God. Will I still be able to sing?' Yeah, I definitely worried about that." Despite the initial anxiety, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee credits an unwavering sense of optimism for helping her navigate the treatment process without spiraling into despair, stating that she remained focused on pushing through to the other side.

While Wilson acknowledged that chemotherapy and the subsequent waiting periods for test results amount to intense physical and mental torture, she emphasized that the grueling road back to baseline is often the ultimate test. "The recovery from cancer is harder than the cancer, really, in life," Wilson observed, adding that while the journey touched her on a profound level, she managed to avoid falling into a dark mental space. Her resilient mindset paved the way for a triumphant return to live performing in 2025. The intimate look into her health journey mirrors the raw vulnerability showcased in her new authorized feature documentary, In My Voice. Directed by Prime-Time Emmy nominee Barbara Hall, the archival-heavy film recently celebrated its world premiere run across North America, mapping out Wilson's trailblazing 50-year career leading one of hard rock’s most influential, multi-platinum institutions.

Post-hardcore pioneers Underoath have confirmed a North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal, gold-certified 2006 studio album, Define The Great Line. The monumental commemorative run will feature a powerhouse lineup, bringing metalcore titans August Burns Red and Atreyu out as primary support. Scene stalwarts As Cities Burn and Emery are also tapped to perform on select legs of the trek, which is scheduled to conclude just ahead of the Christmas holidays with an emotional hometown finale for Underoath in Tampa, Florida.

Reflecting on the record's staggering two-decade legacy, Underoath keyboardist and programmer Chris Dudley expressed how deeply the album shaped the band's identity. "What this album has meant to us, and so many others, over the past 20 years is hard to quantify," Dudley shared. "It gave us permission to be ourselves. It sent us around the world. It gave people the freedom to say (and scream) the things out loud they had buried deep. It will outlive us. We still play these songs on stage 20 years later and get those chills. The opportunity to devote an entire tour to presenting this album in the best way it ever has been, alongside friends we’ve had since before it was released, is going to be bucket list material for us."

In addition to the standard tour dates, the core roster will double as the official lineup for August Burns Red’s annual 'Christmas Burns Red' extravaganza. The festive holiday event is locked in for December 3th at Freedom Hall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. For this special hometown performance, Underoath and August Burns Red will serve as co-headliners, with Atreyu, Emery, and one final mystery artist rounded out to complete the holiday billing.
